Our first night with Henry went well. He woke up around 3:30 a.m. to go pee and then again at 6 a.m. for a nice poop. Then he wanted to play. That was, after he checked out those pajamas to see if the bones were real. I think he thought they tasted good anyway because our son changed his PJs just to stop Henry from licking and biting him. It was pretty cute.
James finally has a boy to play with. They are best buddies already. Henry followed James around the house and James just thought it was the funniest thing ever! James keeps telling me, "Thank you mom for the three boys." All I can do is smile and say, "You're welcome handsome." We're now a family of six, with three girls and three boys!
Henry appears to be a morning pup. He woke up happy and ready for a good hour and a half of playtime. Then he went down for a nice two hour nap. So far, he sleeps, eats, drinks and plays. Pretty typical I suppose. But this is my first "big" dog (along with my children), so I'm learning all this for the first time as are my little munchkins. As for my husband, he's grown up with labs his whole life so this is a great joy for him to be able to watch our amazement with every little thing Henry does. We love, love, love him!
