The sign says it all. He's a smart dog.
Henry is a white, male Labrador Retriever. He was born on Sunday, January 22, 2012 in Murrieta, California where he lived with his mom, dad, two sisters and two brothers. We brought Henry home on Wednesday, February 29. I started this blog for my family so we could enjoy Henry as he grows and remember all things wonderful and then some!

Pumpkin Carving
Henry really enjoyed pumpkin carving. He ate every tiny morsel that he got his giant paws on.
I think he's wondering if I would notice if he at all the pumpkin scraps in the bowl.
Okay, I"m horrible. I tortured him a little. But then I let him have a few "pumpkin spaghetti strings".
Watching and waiting, hoping for something to drop on the floor.
Alas, the finished product! Five pumpkins perfectly carved. Henry loved pumpkin carving too. We all had fun. Happy Halloween!

Dog Bone
At just about 9 months old, we've been working with Henry on his patience. Henry sits nice and still until I allow him to get his bone. He's always really anxious but doing well!
Funny, somehow Henry inched closer...
Henry's First Campfire
Henry really liked hanging out by the campfire. We got to stay up late and enjoy a warm cozy fire.
There were a lot of crickets to watch out for and Henry had fun chasing after them.
James really wanted Henry to wear his baseball hat.
Still trying...
Mission accomplished!
We had a great time with Henry Dean Grumpy Bass at his first campfire!

Henry and the Helicopter
My husband got a remote controlled helicopter and discovered Henry goes nuts when he flies it. He barks at it and hops toward it like a bunny. I'm amazed at how high he gets off the ground. What a crazy pup!

Hangin' in the neighborhood
My son got a new bike for his birthday so we decided to ride up and down the street so he could enjoy his new gift. Henry enjoyed hanging out with everyone, watching the kids ride also.
Henry was such a good boy, he only wandered across the street once to say, "Hi" to his lady friend Hanna in her backyard through the fence. I think he might have a little crush!

Oh no, you're not in my way...
There's nothing like laying on an old rug in the kitchen for a relaxing, peaceful time. And don't worry, I'll maneuver around you...
