Portraits of Henry

Just chewing on a bone in Palm Desert; enjoying our last summer vacation for 2012!

Reluctantly Henry got in the water. He just hung out while Adam tried to get him use to it and let him know "it's okay" to be in the water. He was a good water doggie, but anxious to get out! Why would he want to be in a pool when there's a small, dry kiddie pool with an orange floaty thing laying around to chew on anyway?!?

Henry loved his Doggie "Lounge". He hung out in this little red pool most of the time. 

What's he chewing? Well, an orange floaty thing that most Labs would love to retrieve from the water. Not Henry though. He wants to sit in a small wading pool for children, bone dry and chew the toy so that when it does go in the water, it sinks to the bottom! At least he's enjoying himself though...right?!?

The Doggy Lounge

While on vacation in Palm Desert, Henry did not want to go in the big pool with all of us like most Labrador Retriever's would. He wanted to lounge in the little kiddie pool with just a few drops of water and hang out. I think he even fell asleep in it at one point. 

Balls...

Henry and his Uncle Nate are like old buddies. They hang out, take afternoon naps, play ball and love to sniff balls... I just don't understand why every time they're together they have to sniff each other out. I must google it someday to read about why dogs do this. Yucky! 

Nate got to stay with Henry for one night and one day. They had fun playing with balls, as you can see. No pun intended, seriously.
