Sunbathing

After swimming, Catherine and Victoria decided they wanted to sunbath with Henry. Every afternoon, Henry moves from the shade to the sun. He loves it. The girls enjoyed it too.

Wild Thing

James and I had some early morning play time with Henry. He is no longer the little puppy where I can throw a ball and he'll waddle over to get it. This time he charges and whips his head left and right, not to mention all the tail slapping that goes on. He's a wild, playful puppy! What's funny is he still likes to (and tries to) sit on my lap like he did as a little guy.

Henry is so excited he literally can't sit still.

This lasted all of about two seconds and then he was off and running.

Match Game

The five of us were playing match game on our living room floor. Henry, just outside, could see us together and wanted in desperately. So, we decided to let him in and quickly realized he wanted to play too. Henry kept trying to grab the match cards with his giant paw. It was really funny! Unfortunately he didn't get any matches.

He did WHAT while we were gone?!?

While on vacation, Henry stayed with his Grandparents and Doggie Uncle, Nate. They had a good time hanging out in the backyard together, enjoying the simple pleasures of doggy life. But since we picked him up, he's been laying soupy poop patties non-stop. It's so bad that my husband actually said he might take Henry to the veterinarian. My husband happen to mention to his father on the phone about Henry's poop problem and then moved on to the next topic. Fifteen minutes later he called us back and said he knew why Henry had such awful diarrhea. My father-in-law explained that he was going to feed Nate and realized he was out of dog food. So, he went out to his garage to get his brand new, unopened, spare bag of dog food and found it ripped to shreds with just a few morsels left. Henry had eaten almost an entire 40 pound bag of 'Senior' Beneful brand dog food!!

Henry and Catherine on the doggy bed

In only a month, Henry has grown so much that when he stretches out on his doggy bed he's almost a long as Catherine. What a great pillow the floor makes!
