Henry got a doggy bed!

We finally purchased a doggie bed for Henry! He was so excited, he plopped right on top with his new rawhide bone. The bed is so big that he actually looks small on it. We've been looking at beds for a while now and finally discovered this one at Costco. It's perfect because it has different fabrics on each side, one for warmer temps and the other for when it's cooler out. The cover can be removed and washed and it's filled with redwood or something that smells like it to prevent bugs and things from nesting in it. And the best part ... it was only $20!

Just the two of us

The early morning hours with Henry are my favorite. And on school days, it's usually just the two of us for a good 45 minutes before anyone else is awake. This morning I took two one minute videos of Henry rolling around, playing with his two blankies. It's pretty cute. When compared to the very first video I posted, he's so much bigger and we know there is even more of him to grown into. He's just as playful now as he was only a few months ago in a smaller state. 

In the video, Henry stops to stare out the window. He's listening to the birds singing. It's pretty neat to be able to hear such a pretty sound so early in the morning. With that said, there is no sound. Just Henry, and me watching him enjoy such simple pleasures.

First Swim

This is Henry's first time in Palm Desert and first time swimming. We can't say he's a water dog yet, but he certainly didn't not like it. Adam held him and he seemed content. Once it was time to swim though, Henry went for it. His doggy arms mostly flailed above the water instead of underneath. What a sight it was!

Catherine had a Mermaid themed birthday party with lots of beach decor. Included in the decor were several different types of starfish. Only one was left by the end of the party. Henry ate all of them! I thought for sure his poop would be pretty gross, but no. It was quite normal! As you can see below, he was pooped after a long day with 20 little children over to play.

Doggy Bed/Bean Bag

So Henry sort of took over James' bean bag as a doggy bed during the day for naps and lounging around. I think we might need to invest in a bigger one!! He's grown so much these last three months.
